Suddenly today when any of our customers try to place an order our site crashes at https://www.symbiotestud.../checkout/checkout.aspx. We need to hire someone to look into the problem ASAP. If anyone has the time please email me at jreiter(@)symbiotestudios.com. Please remove the ()

After looking over the event log the same error keeps coming up since the time check out crashed.

Error

5/19/2008 3:59:50 PM UPS Shipping Provider UPS Status Code = 0 UPS Postage = UPS Errors = The requested service is unavailable between the selected locations. UPS Rate = -1

Problem solved. It seems we ran out of bandwidth so the site was not issuing back commands fast enough due to the increase in customers. We upgraded our bandwidth and it is now purring like a kitten.

If you turn "Debugging Mode" on in the UPS shipping method, it will record the actual rate request including the "from" and "to" addresses. One or both addresses may be obviously wrong.

My guess is that your store address is not a valid UPS address. Check BV Admin > Content > Store Info (I think). For example, UPS will not pick up from a PO Box.

We can't seem to get a response by phone or email from BV Software. Are there any free lance contractors out there who know the software well?
