Hi there, I've noticed that there are bunch of shopping carts created by the same email under the Reports--->Shopping Carts. I was wondering if I can BLOCK this user/bot from accessing my site? Please see attached screenshot to get an idea. The storebotmail.joonix.net bot(s) can be frustrating.
In order to block the bot from your site completely you would have to utilize a service such as Cloudflare and add/configure a web application firewall (WAF) in front of your website to prevent the bot accessing the site based on its IP address/User agent or other detection mechanisms.
Without such a service your options are limited. The bot is just adding products to your stores shopping cart. If you are using a cart recovery service you should be able to filter known bad email addresses/domains before sending the cart recovery email.
BV Commerce does have fraud filters which will prevent the bot from being able to checkout. To block this domain navigate to
Admin > Site Settings > Fraud Checks and add storebotmail.joonix.net and joonix.net to the fraudulent domain list.
