BVC 5 - Inventory Update

The Inventory Edit page allows you to manually update the inventory for products within the store. Products may be updated individually or in a group.

This option varies from the “Inventory Batch Edit” page under the Catalog tab. The “Inventory Batch Edit” page does not allow you pick specific products. Batch editing only allows you to select a “criteria”.

The top portion of the page (as displayed in Figure 1) provides a filter for selecting products that you’d like to update.

Upon clicking the submit button, each product will return that qualifies under the filters you’ve selected (if any).

Figure 2 displays the available options for editing a products inventory. From here, you can set the inventory to an amount and add or subtract an amount to the existing inventory.

To update an item, click the checkbox corresponding to the item you’d like to edit. Next, enter the amount and update option for each item. Click the “save changes” button to update the inventory.
