BVC 5 - Config Pages

The Affiliate Sign-up, User Sign-Up and Contact Us configuration or “config” pages allow the store admin to specify additional questions when a user reaches these pages on the store. Specifically the Affiliate Sign Up Page located in the Customer Service Menu, the User Sign-Up Page located on the store log-in page and the Contact Us Page located in the Customer Service Menu.

The first page of the "config" screen (Figure 1) displays any existing questions with the ability to edit, delete or create new questions. Click the "new" button to create a new question.

Three question types exist: Free Response, Multiple Choice and Text Area. The Text Area question type is specific to the “Contact Us Page”.

The Free Response and Text Area questions allow the user the ability to enter in a response to their question. The Text Area provides a wider area for the customer to enter in data. The Multiple Choice option provides a drop down list for the customer to select from.

Each option contains a “question name”. This field is solely for the admin to easily reference the question at a later date. The “question” field is the actual question the user will see and respond to.

The Multiple Choice question has the same options as the “Free Response” however the store admin inputs the options the customer can choose from (figure 3).

Figure 4 below shows the final result of a Free Response and Multiple Choice question on the login screen. Specifically, we’ve added the “How old are you” and “What color are your eyes” for example purposes.
